On October 30, 2004, Han Bai Kung Fu school was awarded by the Lasallian Alumni Association for outstanding services to youth in the Washington D.C. area, along with the Educational Club for Vietnamese Youth and the Thang Long Scout League. Click here to see image.

Master Huynh van Mi, Founder of Han Bai Kung Fu, passed away in Garden Grove, California on April 10, 2004 at the age of 92. Besides relatives and his students, other Han Bai Duong members in Southern California also came to pay tribute to his departure. Master Mi's successor, Mr. Nguyen Viet Bang, attended the funeral with two of his instructors from Maryland. On April 18, 2004, Han Bai Kung Fu's students in Vietnam held a memorial ceremony in respect for the beloved founder. Click here to see funeral picture.

Grand Master Vu B. Oai passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2001 in Orange County, CA. He was 100 years old.
